Traffic Offenders

This can only happen on a sunday in Lagos. Where are the traffic officials?

BAD DAY FOR ENGINE BLOCK THIEF

Despite the biting economic situation of the country, most Nigerians still frown upon the habit of stealing and hence the pepertrator is most times subjected to jungle justice, which in my opinion is a crude way of dealing with an erring citizen. 19 year old Biodun was not a lucky thief when on sunday he was caught trying to sell an engine block he had stolen from the workshop he was training at which is situated about 14kilometers from Ahmadiyya bus stop, the suburb of Lagos State.
He was caught trying to sell the spare part for the sum of 1000 naira to a mallam who was seriously haggling the price. Some residents smelt foul play seeing that Biodun was a stranger in their community. They swooped down on him and he later confessed that the part was stolen because he needed to eat. This announcement did not bring about pity for the boy though, he was seriously beaten and punished by being asked to carry the engine block as punishment for stealing

Beautiful scenes from olumo rock... really nice ;)

i have always loved sight seeing. it is a passion i cannot do without. i love to explore, see new thngs and meet new people. one of the places i have always wanted to go to is olumo rock. Not much in the refreshment department, but the scenery makes up for a lot. The climb up is made less adventurous however with the use of the stairs and elevators that has been ecently nstalled in the tourist centre.

I love the sleepy town of Abeokuta. Its a peaceful environment. A good place to get away from it all.
